Designed in collaboration with Jackson Clements Burrows Architects, 55 Albert Street brings together Neometro’s experience in residential design with JCB’s context-driven approach. An award-winning Melbourne practice, JCB works across architecture, interiors and urban design for both residential and public projects. The building is organised around a central breezeway that brings fresh air into all homes, while establishing a strong connection between the apartments, landscaped spaces and Fleming Park beyond. Robust materials, including concrete and coloured awnings, give the building a clear and durable character, while a diverse mix of apartment types allows for different ways of living.

Generous, flexible and comfortable, the interiors at 55 Albert Street have been designed in-house. Drawing on more than four decades of experience, this approach brings tested and refined materials, planning principles, and design details into each home. Central to the process is a rigorous focus on floorplans, recognising that good apartments begin with how spaces are arranged and experienced. The spaces also incorporate elements of Neometro’s signature use of colour, adding character to each home.
