For more than 30 years we’ve been refining our approach to designing, constructing and maintaining healthy buildings, with our residents front of mind. Finding good sites in great neighbourhoods has always been central to that approach. Beautiful, tranquil and well connected to amenities, Fitzroy is one of our favourite neighbourhoods. To date, we’ve developed four projects in and around the area.

9 Smith Street, Fitzroy is a mixed-use development that cleverly combines residences with offices and retail space, connected by an open-air atrium.

Our apartments at 9 Smith Street, Fitzroy are generously designed to ensure they will provide for people over the course of their lives.

Off-form concrete is used throughout and balconies are punctuated with vibrant cloth awnings—two Neometro signature details that we continue to evolve and refine across projects.

Built above one of the area’s most iconic buildings, Panama House, 231 Smith Street, Fitzroy is a bold and contemporary addition to one of Melbourne’s much-loved streets.

The building offers a series of one and two-bedroom warehouse-style apartments with functional, modern interiors designed for urban living.

These 15 Fitzroy apartments are wrapped in a striking façade that references the neighbourhood’s industrial origins.

Tucked between Brunswick, Johnson and Smith streets Fitzroy, George Corner has a striking façade that resonates with this once-industrial area and boasts a vast northern frontage.

450 Gore Street, Fitzroy was designed in collaboration with Edition Office. Celebrated for an experimental approach to architecture, the award-winning studio utilises cultural, social and technological research to uncover novel design processes that cleverly rearticulate the old.
